Inauguration of the 2025/2026 Academic Year
The ceremonial inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Poznań University of Life Sciences will take place on October 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Biocenter auditorium hall at 11 Dojazd Str.
Following the grand opening and a speech given by the Rector of the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Prof. Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz, the Gaude Mater Polonia anthem will be chanted and the matriculation ceremony will take place. Representatives of first-year students from all faculties and doctoral candidates representing various academic disciplines will solemnly recite an oath on behalf of those newly admitted for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The inaugural lecture entitled The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union in the Face of Contemporary Challenges: Adaptation or Creation? will be delivered by Professor Wawrzyniec Czubak, PhD, Poznań University of Life Sciences.
Traditionally, the ceremony will be preceded by a Holy Mass celebrated the day before the inauguration – October 2, 2025 – at St. John Vianney Church at 6:30 p.m.
