Animal Production Management Programme Receives Positive Evaluation from the Polish Accreditation Committee
The Master’s degree programme in Animal Production Management, offered by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences at PULS, has received a positive programme evaluation from the Polish Accreditation Committee. This confirms the high quality of education and the programme’s alignment with current labor market needs and academic standards.
The educational process was assessed as consistent with the University’s mission and development strategy, as well as with the current state of knowledge in the disciplines of Animal Science and Fisheries. The study programme is continuously consulted with internal and external stakeholders, allowing for its ongoing adaptation to changing socio-economic realities.
The programme’s highly qualified academic and teaching staff have been identified as a key strength. The academic staff have a significant body of research work and experience in the fields of animal husbandry and fisheries; they are involved in research projects, including interdisciplinary ones, and maintain close links with the business community. As a result, students have the opportunity to complete their theses in collaboration with industry partners and participate in research that has real-world significance for the animal production sector.
The high rating was also influenced by the modern teaching and research infrastructure. Students have access to advanced equipment and the facilities of the University Centre for Animal Welfare and Health, as well as to farms and experimental facilities where practical classes and scientific research are carried out.
The University’s extensive and systematic collaboration with the broader socio-economic community has also been recognized. This includes, among other things, the activities of the Programme Council, which involves external stakeholders, the organization of field exercises and study trips, and support for students in the areas of internships and mobility. This cooperation is ongoing and subject to regular evaluation as part of the University’s educational quality assurance system.
The Faculty also actively promotes the internationalization of the teaching process, enabling students to benefit from programs such as Erasmus+ and NAWA, and classes are also taught by foreign lecturers. The program attracts students from various parts of the world, particularly from Asia and Africa.
The Polish Accreditation Committee, pursuant to Resolution No. 254/2026 of the PKA Presidium dated April 16, 2026, granted accreditation for the Animal Production Management programme for a period of six years.
