Christmas Ornament Making – Creating Festive Decorations Together
On 16 December, a special event took place at the Machinery Hall of the Department of Biosystems Engineering, where students came together to create paper Christmas ornaments, filling the space with a magical holiday atmosphere.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for integration and meeting new people, as well as for testing one’s manual and artistic skills. Participants spent time in a friendly, festive environment full of conversations and creative ideas, and the handmade decorations quickly found their place on the Christmas tree.
During the meeting, participants also had the chance to learn about Christmas traditions from different parts of the world and to taste a traditional Polish dish that is always served at the Christmas Eve table.
The event was attended by Prof. Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz, Rector of the Poznań University of Life Sciences; Prof. Karolina Pawlak, Vice-Rector for International Relations; Prof. Jean Diatta, Rector’s Proxy for International Students; Prof. Klaudia Borowiak, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Mechanical Engineering; as well as university staff members.
The event was organized by the Student Council of the Faculty of Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, under the patronage of the International Relations Office and the UPP Student Council Convention.
We would like to thank all participants for their presence and the time spent together. We hope that the festive atmosphere of this meeting will stay with you for a long time!
