Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) has been recognised in two subject areas of the 2026 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), a rating compiled by ShanghaiRanking. Agricultural Sciences received the highest scores, between 51st and 75th in the world, whilst also taking first place in Poland.
This year's GRAS evaluation includes the Poznań University of Life Sciences in two subject areas: Agricultural Sciences – ranked 51–75 in the world, and Food Science & Technology – ranked 301–400 globally.
The ShanghaiRanking covers 57 disciplines across five main fields: natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences. The 2026 edition analysed approximately 20,000 research units representing nearly 2,000 higher education institutions from 100 countries and regions.
GRAS is based on nine objective indicators grouped into five categories: World-Class Faculty, World-Class Research Output, High-Quality Research, Research Impact, and International Collaboration.
