PULS at Perlage Cavaliada Tour Poznań 2025
Perlage CAVALIADA Tour is the largest series of indoor equestrian competitions in Poland. Four disciplines in one arena - show jumping, eventing, dressage, and driving, along with thrilling shows. And this year's Cavaliada Poznań (December 4–7) once again brought together hundreds of competitors and equestrian enthusiasts at the Poznań International Fair. Over four days, the audience watched the competition between around 600 horses and over 350 riders—from young enthusiasts to experienced competitors from the European elite.
The Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) actively participated in the event by funding a prize in the Medium Round competition (140 cm). The winner of this prestigious competition was Marriet Smit-Hoekstra, who received the award from the Rector of the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Prof. Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz.
The presence of our university was also visible in the Expo zone, where a stand was set up to present PULS educational offer, research activities, and projects related to horse breeding and life sciences. The stand attracted many visitors - high school graduates looking for ideas for their studies, horse lovers, and industry professionals. Moreover, PULS stand offered info materials, promotional items, and interaction-based educational elements that invited visitors to engage in discussion and ask their questions.
The involvement of the Poznań University of Life Sciences in Cavaliada is an expression of cooperation with the world of equestrian community, and it support for the promotion of life sciences through sport and a deep passion for horses.
