PULS Promotes Study Opportunities and Develops Academic Partnerships in Namangan, Uzbekistan

From 24 to 26 February 2026, Boburjon Mirzavaliev, PhD student at the Doctoral School of Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) and faculty member of the Faculty of Economics, visited Namangan, Uzbekistan to strengthen academic contacts and promote educational opportunities offered by PULS.

During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of Namangan State Technical University (NamDTU) and Namangan State University (NamDU). At NamDTU, discussions took place with the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Dr. Ilhom Abdurahmanov, who expressed strong interest in developing cooperation with PULS. At NamDU, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Davron Dekhkonov, DSc, who also highlighted the university’s openness to result-oriented international cooperation and potential future collaboration.

Both vice-rectors also expressed interest in the Master’s and PhD study opportunities offered by PULS. They indicated that they would inform their bachelor’s and master’s students about these opportunities and encourage them to learn more about the programs available at our university. Both institutions also proposed organizing online meetings to further discuss concrete areas of collaboration, including possible academic exchange and joint initiatives.

In addition to university meetings, presentations about PULS study opportunities were delivered to final-year students at Chust Specialized School and State Specialized Boarding School No. 7. Students were introduced to the bachelor’s programs offered by PULS, followed by interactive Q&A sessions, during which many expressed interest in studying at the university.

The visit served as an important step toward strengthening academic ties between PULS and institutions in Uzbekistan, while also promoting the university among prospective international students and opening new opportunities for future academic cooperation.
