PULS scientists in media. The power of science communication

17.12.2025

Media activity is one of the most effective ways for scientists to bring research results closer to the wider public and increase understanding of the role of science in the modern world. Their involvement in interviews, commentaries, and popular science articles makes complex issues more accessible and significance clearer to recipients not involved in science. This ensures that science knowledge is no longer locked within the halls of the universities, and its value becomes noticeable in everyday life.

Researchers actively promoting science, who are able to talk about their achievements in an accessible and inspiring way, build trust for the scientific community and shape a strong positive image for Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS). Their presence in the media and reliable communication based on knowledge and experience increase the university's recognition, strengthen its prestige, and confirm that it is a place of lively debate, research, and discovery. Outreach by scientists increases public support and awareness of science in general and public understanding of specific issues. It fosters a connection between the research community and the world outside.

Each year, we appreciate researchers from the Poznań University of Life Sciences who stand out in spreading science and actively share their knowledge in the media. Their involvement helps connect the world of research with society, showing that science can be exciting, practical, and relatable.
