Santander 2025 Awards Ceremony
The Santander 2025 Award ceremony for students and doctoral candidates of the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) is already behind us. The event took place on December 11, 2025, in the Senate Hall of the Poznań University of Life Sciences, as an opportunity to reward the exceptional activity and initiative of students and early-career scientists.
The purpose of the contest is to promote active and creative attitudes, support development, and recognize the commitment and achievements of PULS students and doctoral candidates. 430 applications were submitted for the first round, demonstrating the tremendous interest in the competition. Thirty-two individuals were honored during the final awards ceremony, each winning a prize of 1,500 PLN.
Candidates were selected based on the following criteria: academic performance or admission to the university, social activities within and/or outside the institution, artistic and sporting achievements.
The awardees were 22 students and 10 doctoral candidates from the PULS Doctoral School. The rewards were handed out by Prof. Krzysztof Adamowicz, Vice-Rector for Staff and University Development, Prof. Piotr Slósarz, Vice-Rector for Studies, and Karolina Nyl-Staniewicz from Santander Universidades in Poznań.
The cooperation between the Poznań University of Life Sciences and Santander Bank is part of a broader initiative aimed at supporting education and public development. Its implementation is a step towards building a better future, where knowledge, innovation, and cooperation play a key role.
