UPPoluj pracę – the PULS Job Fair returns with another great edition
A large turnout of exhibitors and students, a buzz of conversation and a wealth of inspiration – this sums up this year’s Job Fair, held under the slogan “UPPoluj pracę”, which took place on 15 April, 2026, at the Poznań University of Life Sciences thanks to many months of work by the PULS Careers Office.
The event was attended by representatives of over 70 companies, public bodies, institutions and organisations from various sectors of the economy. For several hours, the Machine Hall, which once again hosted the Fair, was buzzing with activity. Students and graduates visited the stands in large numbers, spoke with employers, enquired about job vacancies, work placements and internships, as well as the realities of working in specific industries.
“The Fair provides a space for face-to-face conversations and meetings. Many of these were very specific in nature and may already lead to participants’ first professional experiences,” says Dr Sylwia Graja-Zwolińska, coordinator of the PULS Careers Office, which operates within the Support and Development Centre, and the main organiser of the Fair.
The opportunities on offer included both work placements and internships, as well as job vacancies. “Even during the registration process for the UPP Job Fair, exhibitors were asked to specify which degree programmes their career opportunities were aimed at. We are delighted that many of them also expressed a willingness to work with English-speaking students, making the PULS Job Fair attractive to them as well,” adds Magdalena Borowiak, MA, a careers advisor at the Support and Development Centre.
It is worth highlighting the University-wide nature of the event and the benefits of collaboration. The Fair was organised in collaboration with all PULS Faculties, which is why it attracts an ever-wider range of participants representing all PULS courses every year. The student volunteering scheme also worked brilliantly once again, as over 20 volunteers supported the organisers in running the Fair. The turnout, engagement and atmosphere of the Fair demonstrate that it is worthwhile to create a space for meetings, conversations and networking.
We would like to invite you today to next year’s edition of the PULS Job Fair, the date of which will be announced shortly.
