Prospective students at Poznań University of Life Sciences among the scholarship recipients of the Banach NAWA Programme
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the results of the selection process for the Stefan Banach NAWA Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. Out of 887 applications submitted, 130 successful candidates representing 25 countries worldwide have been awarded scholarships.
We are pleased to announce that the group of scholarship recipients also includes candidates who plan to commence their studies at the Poznań University of Life Sciences. This is further confirmation that the educational opportunities offered by the Poznań University of Life Sciences are attracting talented students from various regions of the world.
The Stefan Banach Programme is one of the most important scholarship programmes run by NAWA as part of Poland’s development cooperation. Its aim is to enable citizens of developing countries to undertake second-cycle studies at Polish universities and to build long-term academic and intercultural cooperation.
This year’s laureates come from 25 countries, including Angola, Azerbaijan, Brazil, the Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mexico, Mongolia, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, Rwanda, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
According to the candidates’ preliminary declarations, Poznań University of Life Sciences will be one of the Polish academic centres hosting scholarship holders under the Stefan Banach Programme. Final admission to the Master's degree programmes will take place once the admissions procedures have been completed and all formalities required by the Banach NAWA Programme and the University have been fulfilled.
