PULS in the most recent chart of the Center for World University Rankings 2025

We are pleased to announce that in the latest rating of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), published in May 2025, the Poznań University of Life Sciences maintained its position as one of the top life sciences universities in Poland, and thus moved up in the world ranking.

Of the 41 Polish universities and research institutes recognized in the CWUR, the Poznań University of Life Sciences was re-ranked 29th in the country and 2nd amid life sciences universities (right off SGGW). In the overall ranking, PULS moved from the spot 1570 in 2024, up to 1563 in 2025, placing our University in the prestigious group of 7.3% of the world's top universities. It is also noteworthy that this year's ranking includes a remarkable 21,462 educational units from all around the world, more than in the previous one. And likewise in the regional ranking (Europe), our University upgraded its position, shifting from 529 spot to 517. 

The CWUR methodology is based on an objective assessment of four key areas: quality of education, employment of graduates, quality of academic staff and research results. The ranking does not use surveys or data provided by universities, and is based on measurable indicators, such as the academic and professional success of graduates, the number and quality of academic publications, and awards received by academics.
