From May 11 to 15, 2026, the Faculty of Economics of Poznań University of Life Sciences, in cooperation with universities from Italy, Slovakia, Spain, and Ukraine, is organizing an international Summer School titled "Economic, legal and environmental aspects of agricultural land protection in the EU".

Participation in the Summer School is free of charge. The Summer School is intended for master's level (second cycle) students and offers a combination of theoretical and practical teaching led by professors from the following universities:

  • Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia
  • Poznań University of Life Sciences, Poland
  • Università Roma Tre, Italy
  • Universidad de Almería, Spain
  • Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine

The Summer School is organized within the framework of the international educational project KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education titled “EU Partnership to Protect Agricultural Land in the Face of Climate and Environmental Challenges. Caring for Future Generations – ProLand.

Who can apply?

The Summer School is open to students who are in their 1st or 2nd year of master’s studies in the current
academic year 2025/2026.

Interested students should fill in a completed Summer School Application Form [https://forms.gle/HUzkxMvaabQH1oFv9] and send a motivation letter in English by April 24th at the
latest, via email to: proland@up.poznan.pl 

Participant Selection

The selection will be based on the submitted documents and a subsequent personal interview. Priority will be given to students whose final thesis focuses on topics related to soil protection, the environment, or sustainable food production.
