UPP among the top Polish universities in THE Life Sciences 2025 ranking

The Poznań University of Life Sciences ranked between 601 and 800 in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025 – Life Sciences, maintaining its position from last year.

The Life Sciences ranking covers: veterinary sciences, biological sciences (including biology and biochemistry), agriculture and forestry and sports sciences. This year's edition ranks 1,143 universities from 98 countries and territories, assessed on the basis of 18 performance indicators, including research quality, research environment, internationalization, industry collaboration and teaching quality. The methodology is based on the indicators used in THE World University Rankings 2025, adapted to the specific nature of the discipline.

In the ranking for Poland, the Poznań University of Life Sciences, alongside the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, is the highest-ranked university with a natural sciences profile, placing in the 601–800 group. Only the Jagiellonian University and the University of Warsaw ranked higher (in the 501–600 range).

The PULS result confirms the university's strong position, both nationally and internationally, as well as the consistent development of scientific research and the quality of education in disciplines that are key to the University's mission.
